TRENDS CERSAIE 2021 I
The end of September saw the 38th edition of Cersaie, Bologna, the international trade fair for ceramics and bathroom furnishings, which has always been a springboard for the collections that will be the stars of the following year. We would like to show you the most relevant trends that we discovered at Cersaie.
One of the main novelties and one of the most important during the fair was the presentation of new large formats in marble, stone or metallic effect finishes, from the “smallest” 48″×48″ to 48″×144″, which showed all their beauty.
THE STRENGTH OF LARGE FORMATS
Among the large formats, the Capraia or Iceberg collections by Coverlam (Grespania), Unique Marble by Provenza, Level Marmi by Level, Tele di Marmo Selection or Tele Di Marmo Onyx by Emil Ceramica stand out with their marble-finish designs that create timeless and luminous spaces, as their veins are full of rich shades in warm tones.
Among the large formats, the seductive metallic texture of the Toledo, Distrito series by Grespania and Metallica by Viva stand out, elegantly transforming any urban and industrial space, thanks to their great graphic richness.
Finally, among the large formats, the Dot collection by Fioranese, concrete effect tiles, inspired by cement, capable of building and transforming spaces, or the Elegance Pro series by Ergon, which reinterprets sandstone, thus multiplying its possible architectural applications.
NATURAL INSPIRATION
During Cersaie, the influence of finishes inspired by nature, both in terms of colours and graphics, was evident. Surprising with bold floral and abstract compositions that turn surfaces into true works of art. Predominantly jungle colours such as greens, turquoises and earth tones that evoke atmospheres inspired by nature.
