TRENDS CERSAIE 2022
Bolonia, Italia
Last September was held the Cersaie fair in Bologna, the largest showcase of the ceramic and bathroom sector. We went there to meet with professionals from different fields and to show you the latest trends presented at the most important fair of the ceramic floor and wall tiles sector in Italy.
Creating modern interiors that look for naturalness and wellness
One of the trends most seen this year is the search for naturalness and well-being when designing both interiors and exteriors. Tiles that respect the originality of the vivid and recovered wood with textures and veins that amplify the expressive potential of the surfaces, having tiles in extra-large formats such as the Jungle collection that is designed as brushed wood and with soft knots, which gives the pieces a naturalness that embellishes them even more. Also highlight the decorative porcelain stoneware surfaces, which combine floral and plant motifs of the Papier collection, to give rise to a botanical style in any project, rediscovering the contact with nature providing a contemporary touch.
Elegantly urban and industrial spaces
This year the metal effect is one of the most demanded according to trends in interior design and decoration. The most demanded metal has a more industrial look, worn and marked contrast, bringing a lot of personality to the rooms which we find in the Dripart collection, bringing a lot of personality to the rooms.
The charm of an ancient stone, full of details, nuances, irregularities, etc.
Nowadays, floors and walls follow one after the other in perfect harmony, sober and elegant series inspired by the great rocks that connect with the energy of the Earth, full of contrasts, combined in a modern and exclusive way with a three-dimensional texture, we find the Motley or Mapierre series, series with a marked architectural character with an aged effect.
Majestic in large format
Finally, we would like to highlight the use of materials inspired by marble. This ceramic trend is characterized by large format as offered by the Tele Di Marmól series that chooses to reinterpret the quartz reaching literally scenographic effects, becoming the protagonist of the living space thanks to the majesty of its large thin slabs, which become even more precious by the reflective glossy finish of the ceramic surface.
