TRIP TO THE VALENCIAN COMMUNITY
CASTELLÓN
Trip to the Valencian Community: Miami customers get to know our Spanish suppliers and Mediterranean gastronomy.
This October 2024, some of our Miami clients have had the opportunity to travel to Spain, specifically to the beautiful area of Castellón, one of the most outstanding areas at international level for its production of tiles of excellent quality and great variety. During this experience, they have been able to meet some of our main porcelain suppliers, explore their showrooms, discover the latest collections and trends of the best quality tiles, and, of course, enjoy the excellent Mediterranean gastronomy.
The trip began in the beautiful coastal town of Benicàssim, where they stayed at the “Voramar” hotel. This hotel offers spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea, a perfect setting to relax after a day of visiting the showrooms of our suppliers. Specializing in both commercial and residential projects, these porcelain manufacturers shared their latest innovations with our clients.
The itinerary also included a visit to a factory specialized in the production of large porcelain slabs, up to 63 “x128”. During this visit, clients had the opportunity to get a close look at the manufacturing and handling process of these large format pieces, in addition to touring their private showroom.
The gastronomic experience was undoubtedly a highlight of the trip. The first stop was at the Sant Antoni restaurant, where they were able to enjoy a selection of the best Mediterranean dishes in a unique setting, with breathtaking views of the Plana Baixa.
Another memorable moment was lunch at El Morro restaurant, famous for its wide variety of rice dishes and seafood, always accompanied by panoramic views of the Mediterranean. At Cal Dimoni, considered one of the best paella restaurants in Castellón, they enjoyed a Valencian paella cooked in the traditional style, over orange wood.
The trip also included a visit to the historic town of Peniscola, known for its imposing Templar castle and dreamy beaches. Clients had free time to explore the town and enjoy its unique beauty.
The last stop of the trip was in Valencia, where they stayed at the Hotel Casa Clarita, a luxurious boutique hotel in the historic heart of the city, designed by renowned interior designer Jaime Hayón. Here, our clients enjoyed exclusive accommodations that combine contemporary finishes with the original charm of the building. In addition, Valencia offered them a free day to tour the city and explore its rich cultural offerings, such as the City of Arts and Sciences, the Central Market.
This trip has not only allowed our clients to learn more about the world of high quality porcelain and our suppliers in Spain, but also to immerse themselves in the Spanish culture and discover the new trends for 2025. It has been an experience full of inspiration for their projects, and we have had the opportunity to spend a unique week with them. We thank them for their trust and for joining us in this new adventure, which has undoubtedly left us with great lessons and unforgettable moments.
