Instructions for Use
Preliminary tests before large-scale application:
Before applying the product on large surfaces, it is essential to conduct a test on a small area. This allows you to determine the product’s activation time and evaluate its anti-slip effectiveness. It is important to note that the anti-slip effect increases with the product’s exposure time. The longer the exposure, the more effective the treatment will be.
Application method:
- Surface preparation: Ensure the surface is completely clean and free of grease before applying the product.
- Product application: Spray the anti-slip solution evenly across the surface, ensuring it remains wet for the required activation time. Reapply if you notice any areas drying. Start a timer when applying the product.
- Monitoring for changes: During application, it is uncommon for changes in the tone or intensity of the material to occur, but it is advisable to test in inconspicuous areas to avoid surprises on the entire surface.
- Post-application cleaning: After the activation time (7, 8, 9, or 10 minutes, according to the tests), rinse the product off with plenty of water. You can use a low-pressure hose to rinse. Check the treatment’s effectiveness, especially in humid conditions, by feeling the surface with your fingertips.
Large-scale product application:
Once the appropriate activation time has been determined through testing, apply the product in the same way across the entire surface. Spray evenly, working in areas of no more than 50 square feet at a time to better control the activation time and prevent the product from drying. Continuously monitor the area during the process and apply more product if needed.
After the required time (7 to 10 minutes), rinse the treated surface thoroughly with water, ensuring that the residue does not come into contact with adjacent materials like plants, furniture, or surfaces that do not require treatment.
Before proceeding on large surfaces, cover nearby materials that could be damaged, such as door frames, metals, or wood, to avoid any unwanted effects. Ensure the solution only contacts the surface being treated. Once rinsed, the floor will be ready for use, with increased anti-slip safety.
Store the product in its original container, in a cool and dry place, to keep it in optimal condition.
