Cersaie 2026: Our Selection of Favorite Porcelain Tile Collections

After exploring Cersaie 2026 in Bologna, the ITALGRES team selected some of the porcelain tile collections that caught our attention the most during the fair.
Among all the new collections, we noticed a common theme: natural stone-inspired surfaces, warm tones, and designs featuring mineral aggregates were among the major highlights.
Although each collection has its own personality, they all reflect a shift toward more expressive materials, with textures, colors, and finishes that bring character to contemporary spaces.
From terrazzo porcelain tile to surfaces inspired by clay and natural stone, these are six of our favorite collections from Cersaie 2026, originating from Italy and Spain.
1. SICILIA: A NEW INTERPRETATION OF MEDITERRANEAN TERRAZZO
Originating from Spain, Sicilia stands out for its interpretation of natural stone with a strong terrazzo influence, combining mineral fragments with warm, earthy tones.
What caught our attention the most was the richness of its patterns and the possibility of combining different sizes to create original compositions. Its variety of finishes also makes it suitable for different spaces, both indoors and outdoors.
Available sizes include 24”x48”, 48”x48”, 32”x70”, and a 22”x30” trapezoidal tile, particularly interesting for creating geometric patterns.
Sicilia demonstrates how terrazzo-inspired porcelain tile can add personality while preserving the natural character of stone, making it an interesting option for kitchens, residential flooring, and Mediterranean-inspired spaces.
2.VICENZA: THE ARCHITECTURAL STRENGTH OF STONE
Also originating from Spain, Vicenza is inspired by Ceppo di Gré, a natural stone known for the visible mineral fragments embedded in its surface.
The combination of textures, irregular aggregates, and neutral tones creates a porcelain tile with a distinctive architectural aesthetic.
Unlike more uniform surfaces, Vicenza adds movement and depth while maintaining a balanced appearance that makes it easy to incorporate into contemporary interiors.
Available in several sizes, including large format porcelain tile, this collection stands out for its ability to turn stone into a defining architectural element, from expansive flooring applications to walls and bathrooms.
3. ESSENZA: THREE WAYS TO INTERPRET TERRAZZO
Originating from Italy, Essenza brings back the aesthetic of reconstituted stone and traditional Venetian terrazzo, reinterpreting it through a combination of a mineral base and fragments of different sizes.
One of the aspects that surprised us the most was the possibility of finding three different interpretations within the same collection: Fine, Venezia, and Maxi.
Each features a different fragment scale, ranging from subtle, delicate compositions to much more expressive designs.
This variety makes Essenza suitable for minimalist spaces where a subtle texture is desired, as well as projects where the surface becomes a more prominent design element.
Its ability to offer different levels of visual intensity within a single collection is precisely what made it one of our favorites.
4. VENEZIA: CREATIVITY AND PERSONALITY THROUGH COLOR
Another Italian collection that stood out to us was Venezia, a collection that explores the decorative possibilities of terrazzo through different stones, colors, and fragment sizes.
With 12 different designs, the collection offers an especially interesting variety, ranging from subtle, neutral surfaces to combinations with greater contrast.
What caught our attention was precisely this creative freedom. Venezia allows porcelain tile to be used not only as a surface covering but also as a way to introduce color and personality into interior design.
It is a particularly interesting collection for bathrooms, commercial spaces, and projects where floors or walls play a central role in the overall design.
5. AURA: THE BEAUTY OF SUBTLE SURFACES
Not every collection that surprised us at Cersaie featured bold patterns or strong contrasts.
Originating from Italy, Aura stands out for its simplicity and its delicate interpretation of natural stone.
Its soft patterns and subtle tonal variations create an almost uniform surface, with just enough depth to prevent it from appearing flat.
The collection features a palette of warm, neutral tones that aligns perfectly with current interior design trends.
Additionally, its range of sizes, including large format porcelain tiles up to 48”x110”, allows for expansive surfaces with a strong sense of visual continuity.
Aura demonstrates that a surface does not need strong contrasts to have personality. Its calm, natural aesthetic works particularly well in contemporary bathrooms, living rooms, and minimalist residential projects.
6. MEDITERRA: A RETURN TO NATURAL MATERIALS
We conclude our selection with Mediterra, an Italian collection inspired by rammed earth and clay, two materials deeply connected to traditional Mediterranean architecture.
Its design evokes surfaces shaped by nature, the passage of time, and craftsmanship, bringing those references into contemporary porcelain tile.
Earthy tones, natural variations, and rich textures create warm, inviting spaces, moving away from cold, uniform surfaces.
With both small and large formats available, Mediterra offers different design possibilities, from decorative wall coverings to more expansive surfaces.
What caught our attention the most was its ability to capture the essence of traditional materials and adapt it to contemporary architecture.
FROM CERSAIE 2026 TO OUR TILE STORES IN MIAMI AND ORLANDO
After exploring these six collections, we found a clear connection between them.
Sicilia, Vicenza, Essenza, and Venezia reflect the growing importance of aggregate stones and terrazzo, while Aura and Mediterra represent a softer, warmer, and more natural interpretation of porcelain tile.
Although their designs are different, they all demonstrate how porcelain tile continues to evolve, offering new possibilities for architecture and interior design.
From our tile stores in Miami and Orlando, ITALGRES continues to discover and select Italian and Spanish porcelain tile collections to bring the latest European innovations to architects, interior designers, builders, and homeowners looking for high-quality materials for their projects.
Our goal is to connect the latest European design trends with residential and commercial projects throughout Florida, offering inspiration and new possibilities for creating unique spaces
